Disable USB ports Using Registry edit

Follow some easy steps & disable USB ports
  • Click Start >Run Type Regedit and click OK
  • Find this registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\UsbStor
  • In the Details pane ,Double click on Start 
  • Click Hexadecimal and Type 4 then OK
  • To enable USB ports again just change value to 3 from 4



Disable USB from Device Manager

  • Click Start >>Run>>Type devmgmt.msc and OK
  • Browse the USB Device 
  • Their are lots of USB device listing at bottom
  • Right click one each listing & then click disable option 
  • To enable USB Right click one each listing & then click enable  option
